Captain Chris Pappas, Unit Admissions Officer, AFROTC Detachment 220, Purdue University, West Lafayette IN, is responsible for recruiting, training, motivating and counseling highly-qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force officers. He serves as the unit admissions officer, Arnold Air Society liaison, Civil Air Patrol liaison and AS100 level instructor. Capt Pappas was commissioned through a four-year ROTC program at Arizona State University in 2005 and received his Master's degree from Webster University in 2007. During his last assignment Capt Pappas was the Telemetry Project Officer for the Eastern Range in the Launch and Range Systems Wing at Los Angeles AFB, CA.
Capt Justin C. Tolliver is the AS200 instructor, Purdue University, Detachment 220, West Lafayette, Indiana. The captain is responsible for the education and leadership development of ROTC cadets. His additional duties at Detachment 220 include Commandant of Cadets, Education Officer, Test Control Officer, and Silver Wings Advisor. Capt Tolliver received his commission from the United States Air Force Academy in 2001 and his Master’s degree from Wright State University in 2004. During his last assignment he was the Officer in Charge, Technical Engineering Section, 90 MOS/MXOOT at F.E. Warren AFB, WY.
Major C. Robert Lively is the AS300 instructor. The major graduated from Oregon State University in 1995 with a degree in History, and he received his Masters of Arts in Education from Touro University in 2005. Major Lively has served as Chief of the Innovation and Experimentation Branch at Langley AFB, as a Crew Commander for the 2nd Space Warning Squadron at Buckley AFB, and as a Space Based Training Flight Commander at Vandenberg AFB. He was recognized as the AFROTC Northeast Region FGO of the 1st quarter in 2008.
